This weekend, the splint group of Ugandans in North America, which brands itself as UNAA Causes, will gather for the biggest party in the diaspora for Ugandans.
However, unlike other days when they invited Ugandan artistes exclusively, this time round, they have preferred non-Ugandans.
This website understands that apart from Afrigo which will perform on September, Sunday, UNAA Causes organisers have hired Diamond Platinumz from Tanzania and Mr. Flavour from Nigeria to entertain their guests.
The exclusive Summer billed as The Uganda Festival & Expo by UNAA Causes according to the program, will host Mr. Flavour live at the Grand Opening, tonight, Friday August 30th at the Grand Hyatt – New York. He will be at the Single’s Ball too.
On Saturday, August 31, Diamond Platinumz has been hired as the main act aboard the Infinity Yacht Pier 40 which is the ultimate dance party for UNAA Causes patrons.
AFRIGO BAND is on Sunday September 1st, exclusively, at the Marriott Marquis in Time Square.
