Patrick Mugisha, a city lawyer who went missing last week has been found alive and healthy.

Mugisha was released on Sunday August 4, 2019.

Mugisha who works with Mwesigwa Mugisha & Co Advocates was allegedly picked up by security operatives on Wednesday July 31, 2019 from his chambers in Muyenga.

According to online blogger Kakensa Media, the security operatives came in a pick up double cabin Reg No_UAQ597K which they used to whisk Mugisha to an unknown place.

“When his lawyers tried to trace him at kireka police station they were advised to follow up with ISO because Mr Mugisha was not in their custody . No family member or friend knows the whereabouts,” Kakensa posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

After his release, one of Mugisha’s friends said they are yet to establish the real motive behind his abduction.

“For now his safe and alive,” a friend said.
