Teddy Naluswa, the estranged wife to Pastor Aloysius Bugingo has said that every day she prays for her husband and children to be restored to the right path.
Teddy made the revelation in a letter she issued on Friday to express gratitude to the people who have stood by her side while dealing with challenges in her marriage.
“Since the public got to know about the challenges I was facing with my marriage, I have seen a steady rise in support from people some who I know, some who I do not know. My story mirrors the challenges women face on a daily basis, as they strive to build, maintain their families in spite of the storms they encounter,” said Teddy.
Adding, “To every individual or organization that has stood by me for a second, for a minute, for a day, for a month, for several months, I thank you all. Each and every day, I pray for my family [husband and children] to be restored to the right path and I believe God will make that to happen.”
Teddy also advised fellow women who are going through similar circumstances, to have faith in prayer ‘whichever religion you belong to. God will make a way.’
Since May this year, Teddy has been having family issues with Bugingo and apparently, the House of Prayer Ministry lead Preacher is demanding for a divorce alleging that he can no longer stay with her.
He accuses her of conspiring to steal his Church land as well as trying to kill him.
And just last week, he told his followers that she sexually starved him for 10 years while suffering from fistula.
“I have tried to always keep quiet to respect Teddy but she is playing the sympathy card too much. She says she has been with me for 29 years through thick and thin. But how come she doesn’t talk about her haemorrhage (fistula). My wife bled for 10 years. Every single day, I bought cotton since pads could no longer contain her flow. I didn’t have sex for those 10 years. I didn’t even cheat. How come I didn’t get another woman in those years? Surely people must know that if I were to leave, it would have been then. I have been patient, I have tried all my best to make this thing work. Let her stop claiming she is the one who tried her best,” Bugingo said.
