Police in Nalumunye, Wakiso district have arrested two men who have been vandalising the wire meshes on Entebbe Express Highway.
The suspects who include Sunday Peter and Lugemwa Isma were found in possession of about 50kg ( chain link).
They are currently detained at Nalumunye Police.
“The holding charge is theft, the Resident State Attorney will prefer the appropriate charge when the file is forwarded to their office for perusal and legal advice,” said Police in a statement.
Adding, “We have increased vigilance along Entebbe Express Highway. Members of the public are encouraged to inform us on any mischief along that highway.”
