Unconfirmed reports are making rounds on social media alleging that renowned city Pastor Augustine Yiga is dead.
The reports claim that Yiga, who had recently relocated to South Africa ‘died’ in his sleep on Friday evening. Some sections of social media however claim it could be a stunt that will lead to ‘resurrection after three days’.
The Revival Christian Church Kawaala head popularly known for his comic show ‘Ki Kyolifa tewelabidde’ (What you’ll never forget), that airs on ABS TV, had taken ministering to another level and even had changed his name to ‘Prophet’.
While in South Africa, the controversial pastor started a new church in Pretoria West that he named Great Revival Church (GRC).
Among the services he offered included; rebuking the evil spirits following single mothers, releasing women from the bondage of being single mothers and enriching poverty-stricken families.
Efforts to get in touch with his church in Kawaala, Kampala were futile.
