Police in Kabale is investigating circumstances under which a 26 years old man disappeared and later found dead.
The deceased, Denis Arinitwe is a son to Engineer Mbasa Richard of Nyakahita cell Kigongi ward Central division in Kabale district .
According to the Kigezi regional Police spokesperson Elly Maate, the deceased went missing between 17th and 18th December, 2018.
Maate said it was unfortunate that his body was discovered on Saturday afternoon in a stream about a half km from their home in Nyakahita valley.
He confirmed that police visited the scene, retrieved the decomposing body and took it to Kabale hospital mortuary for postmortem.
This case has been registered at Kabale central police station under file number SD 22/05/01/2019 .
