Christians have been challenged to always be prepared because no one knows the time, hour, day and month when one will depart from Earth.

According to Rev Fr Vincent Mucunguzi everyone will die but whoever died in Christ shall not perish but have an everlasting life.

Mucunguzi was comforting mourners during the burial of late Federico Koyekyenga, the father in law of journalist and Boona FM manager Santrinah Namanya Kakyene in Kyabitooto, Kaberebere Town council Isingiro District on Sunday.

He commended the late Koyekyenga for being a true and committed Christian who was serving the Lord through charismatic renewal.

The wife Prikeria Koyekyenga praised God for enabling her to fulfill their marriage vows that it’s only death which will put them apart.

She described her late husband as peace loving and humble man, which helped them to stay together as brother and sister for over 50 years in marriage.

The sons in law led by Namanya hailed Koyekyenga for being a good parent, hardworking, generous, advisor and above of all loved God which should be emulated. Namanya noted that his legacy of development will remain forever in Kaberebere town council.

Children represented by Tom Mucunguzi commended their late father for producing, nurturing and educating them appealing to mourners’ emphasis the education of their children for better future.

The Kaberebere Town council chairperson Kajumba Patrick thanked him for supporting and embracing government noting that the town council has resolved to name a road after his name appreciating his roles in stirring the development of the area.

The late Koyekyenga succumbed to throat cancer aged 83 and left a widow, eight children 35 grandchildren and five great children.
