Most wanted female kidnapper arrested in Kabale

Police in Kabale has in detention a kidnapper, who has been on a wanted list for the allegedly kidnapping a six year old girl.
On Monday 24/09/2018, the Kidnapper identified as  Latibo Tibo alias Musimenta Emaculate was finally arrested from the home of Habert Twinomugisha, resident of Rwabaremera  village, kahondo parish in Maziba SubCounty, in Kabale district.
She had kidnapped Niwahereza Angel,  Female juvenile aged six , on 16/07/2018. After kidnapping her, she had  demanded a Ransom worth  UGX 180 millions.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson says that  She first escaped on 25/08/2018, aboard Gateway bus from police escorts at Omugyenyi town along Ntungamo town to Kabale. Upon re-  arrest by Nakaseke police again escaped from their custody on 30/08/2018.
According to Maate, The kidnapped victim was recovered on 30/08/2018, and later was handed over to the Guardian Grandfather identified as Besigye Joseph on 03/09/2018.
The  Kidnapper, Latibo Tibo is now detained at  Kabale central police station pending questioning by Senior Detectives to enable police  arrest the associates.
Maate has thanked  the O/C CID Nakaseke who provided Kabale police  with the clues for arrest of the kidnapper.
While speaking to our reporter, Maate said that  adds The kidnapper will be produced to court soon .
He has called on the public to remain calm, saying that Kigezi region still normal and calm.
