City Lawyer Anthony Wameli of Wameli and Company Advocates has urged socialite turned Bryan White to stop threatening his workers but instead respect the law and pay his client.
Wameli to say this,was at his offices in Wandegeya where he cautioned Bryan White to stop using the name of the president to to commit injustice to Ugandans.
“When my lawyer (Turyasiima Georfrey)went to his home to give him a letter,Bryan White received it and chased him from his away while boasting that he will not pay since even president Museveni knows about it” Said Wameli.
Wameli is the lawyer of Alex Binyenda who filed a case suit against Bryan white for failing to pay his money worth shs500 million.
It is alleged that Bryan White bought a Mercedes Benz Cross Country and paid only US$100,000 of US$250,000 (about Shs930,146,032). He allegedly promised to pay the balance, which he did not, prompting the former owner to report a criminal case of obtaining goods by false pretence against Bryan White.
Wameli said what matters is not how much the car costs but the impact it added to Bryan White after taking selfies on Facebook with the posh car.
“Bryan White realized that this was the best car in town. So he had to use all means of taking pictures with it. This added something big to the image of the socialite”Wameli explained.
He added that he is someone who does not think that president Museveni can accept anyone to refuse to pay his personal debts when he has to.
It’s on this note that the lawyer advised Bryan White to pay his client and also respect the ten days given to him as far as the filed case is concerned.
