Uganda Cranes Head coach Sebastien Desabre has expressed utmost excitement about the National team’s regional tour campaign.  championed by team sponsors Airtel Uganda and partners Nile special as an opportunity for him to access and identify new players.

The core aim of the campaign is to avail millions of the Uganda Cranes fans across Uganda who never make it to Namboole to catch their idols in action but hear, read or watch them on radios, papers and television respectively.

Speaking to local media after the team’s acclimatization training at Nyakasanga grounds in Kasese, the venue for Saturday’s fixture against Kitara region select side, the French tactician expressed his joy.

‘I continue to learn a lot about Ugandan football. It is my first Uganda Carnes regional tour game. It is another development programme like the FUFA Drum that gives me chance to identify and check out many more other players across the country. It a National team match so all players have equal opportunity to prove themselves’
