Police in kabale is investigating circumstances that brought an accident that involved modern coast bus and a trailer.
This Fatal accident involved a modern coast bus registration number UBA 067 Y and trailer registration number T467BFX /T714 ATW M.
The two vehicles collided on Monday morning at around 05:30 hours at Kyonyo along Kabale Katuna road.
The turn man of the trailer identified as Samson Onyango Agutu, 24 a Kenyan, died on spot and four others from the bus seriously injured .
The injured include Phionah Kamikaz, 28 and Hamina Jasibu, 24 both of Kagarama in Kigali Rwanda.
Mr Eridoni Mageto, 24 bus conductor and Peter Omega, 60 both Kenyan Nationals and few others also got minor injuries.
The bus was from Kenya heading to Kigali Rwanda while the trailer was from Katuna to Kampala.
According to the Kigezi region Police spokesperson Elly maate, Police responded as soon as possible and the injured were rushed to Kabale referral hospital and fire brigade struggled and removed the bus driver who was stack therein known as David Nyaga of Kenyan Nationality.
Inquiries to establish the rightful cause of accident underway. This case has been registered at Kabale police station file number TAR 33/2018.
