Police in Kabale district is investigating unclear circumstances under which a 20 years old man allegedly committed suicide.
the deceased has been identified as Brian Akampurira who was found hanging with a rope in eucalyptus tree on Thursday 14/06/18 at around 11 am at Kirire village, Katenga parish ,Kaharo sub county Kabale district
the deceased was looking after cattle of Mr. Sereverisi Byaruhanga who a teacher at Kihesi primary school. The deceased hails from Kahama village Kafunjo parish Buhara sub county and had only spent a month at his place of work.
It’s alleged that the deceased left home in the morning to graze, only to be found hanging in the bush by people who had gone to collect timber from the same place.
according to the Kigai region police spokesperson Elly Maate, police was Notified as soon as possible , which visited the scene with the Police surgeon and postmortem was done on site and body taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary pending collection by relatives for burial.
the case is registered at kaharo police station file number SD 05/14/06/2018 .
