Last year, State minister of health for general duties Sarah Opendi while at a church fundraising function in Tororo described NRM Electoral Commission Chairman Dr. Tanga Odoi as a “man who has a mental problem”. She claimed that Odoi had been defaming her and accusing her of witchcraft; allegations which Odoi denied.

In response Odoi decided spill the beans as to why the minister was strongly against him.

He explained that Opendi has had a long crush on him but he rejected her advances.

This friend zone started a long way back when they were much youthful without the big public offices, according to Odoi.

Well after failing to get her way into Odoi’s heart, the minister decided to look for plan B; and that was to look for a man who could love her wholeheartedly.

Good news is that her search has proved to be fruitful after hooking up fellow politician.

Information reaching us indicates that Opendi is deeply in love with Bukonzo West Member of Parliament Atkins Katusabe and the two lovebirds recently carried out a low key ceremony to legalize their love sessions.

The ceremony was attended by only 10 people including Makerere University Vice Chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe who is a long time friend to Katusabe.

Surprisingly, Katusabe and Opendi have different political affiliations; whereby the legislator is a diehard FDC member whereas the minister belongs to the yellow class (NRM), so speculators are not sure whether the two lovebirds won’t be fighting over Museveni- Besigye affairs at their matrimonial home.

Meanwhile, before becoming MP, Katusabe used to work at Makerere University in unclear docket and he also stood for the university’s Convocation chairpersonship where he lost miserably to Opendi’s secret desired man Odoi.
