Newly appointed Security Minister Gen Elly Tumwine has pledged that he is going to make sure that there’s better communication among security organs.
He made the remarks on Wednesday while addressing the press shortly after being vetted by Parliament Appointments Committee.
“There’s going to be a good team, good coordination, working together and getting enough communication at all levels for the happiness of the people of Uganda to continue enjoying the peace and strengthen it using whatever we have,” said Tumwine.
He also urged Ugandans to rise up and take part in ensuring the security of the country and avoid leaving it to the responsibly of a few individuals.
