Celebrated businessman Sudhir Ruparelia has donated surveillance cameras to Central Police Station in Kampala worth millions of shillings.
The Ruparelia Group Chairman donated the cameras to police in a bid to curb crime rate around the station.
Prior, there have been a lot of people impersonating as police officers around CPS and they have been fleecing cash from a number of victims with cases at the station.
The CPS Commander Joseph Bakaleke lauded Mr. Sudhir for his continued support towards police force.
He said the surveillance cameras will help them net all people who have impersonating as officers to con people at the station’s premises.
He revealed that so far five cameras have already been installed in and around at the station.
