Following the September 27 age limit scuffle at parliament which left a number of MPs opposed to the controversial bill injured and some arrested, Makindye West Member of Parliament Allan Sewanyana who was one of the victims, has this time round resolved to put on a red overall not to suffer the same consequences of losing his expensive suit to security operatives who are likely to re-attack them as Parliamentary legal committee presents its report on the bill.

According to Sewanyana, he can’t risk his suit to be torn again by security personnel like it was done during the August House when MPs were violently evicted from the House.

Meanwhile, the age limit amendment bill misses out on the order paper ahead of its highly anticipated presentation today at the floor of parliament.

Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee, was expected to present the report from the consultations about the controversial bill.

However, the speaker is allowed to amend the order paper during the proceedings.
