The Uganda Cranes held the final training session on Sunday evening at the Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega ahead of the first CECAFA game against Burundi on Monday.
All the players are fit and ready for action as the tournament record winners (with 14 titles) look forward another title.
“Everything is moving on as planned. My only worry is for some of the youngsters on the team who may get stage freight. We are ready for the successful CECAFA defence” Basena noted.
Uganda is also the tournament defending champion from the last edition played in Ethiopia (2015).
