‘Serve the Public with Discipline’-Kayima urges fellow police officers

The police spokesman SSP Emilian Kayiima has urged police officers to always serve the public with the highest level of integrity and discipline most especially Field force unit (FFU), this was at Naguru Police Barracks on Frday as they were receiving Christmas gifts from Target Limited one of the distribution companies in Uganda.

“Do the right right job and the public will appreciate you like Target Uganda limited has done today “Kayima said.

He added that “the action by Target limited is also a wake up call to police officers to continue serving better saying that this is a sign that the public appreciates police work and it will help improve the police image in the long run”.

About 300 hundred police officers received household items that included eatables like packed foods such as beans, baking flour,cooking oil and beddings from Target limited.

Leticia Jingo the Managing Director of Target limited said that this has been done to appreciate the good job that police does in protecting their businesses especially in the downtown areas of Kampala.

“Police has always protected our businesses especially in times of riots that’s why we have to appreciate the police officers” she said.
