UTB’s marketing boss resigns

Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) Marketing Manager Edwin Muzahura Rumanyika on Thursday handed over his resignation notice to Chief Executive Officer of the Board.

In his resignation letter, Muzahura says he finds it difficult and unable to serve under the prevailing circumstances both at management and strategic level.

“I find it difficult and unable to serve under the prevailing circumstances both at management and strategic level,” he states.

He says he will proceed to take his remaining annual and statutory leave in December and will cease to serve effective 1 January, 2018.

“I want to thank , you and the team for the support rendered to me during my service and wish you the very best in executing this noble mandate,” said Muzahura adding that, “Am also available to work with my team and colleagues to ensure proper transition and support,”

He further notes that he will submit a detailed report about issues that have informed and formed his decision for the good of the institution and the country as a whole.
