Bukoto South Member of parliament, Hajji Muhammad Mbabaali has today survived a serious beating after advocating for the removal of age limit cap from the constitution.

While at Kiwangala Parish, Kissekka Sub County in Lwengo District, during a consultative meeting, the legislator survived sustaining injuries after his constituents nearly thrashed him.

Hill Water

The meeting that started well ended without ceremony when the MP asked his electorate to unconditionally endorse the proposed amendment so as to reward president, Yoweri Museveni for the perfect leadership style he has exhibited since he assumed power.

The residents didn’t feel Mbabali’s ‘sweet words thus started pelting him with stones.

They accused him of coming to consult them with a predetermined position.

The legislator was immediately saved by police who protected him and whisked him away.

Mbabali joins the likes of Kabula county James Kakoza to be attacked by their voters over age limit bill.
