Though a number of Ugandans have failed to appreciate Gen. Kale Kayihura’s work as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), former Soroti MP and Health minister Mike Mukula has decided to stand out to shower the police boss with praises.

He has described  Gen Kayihura as a great patriot, nationalist and pan-Africanist who has served Uganda selflessly and that he has professionalized the police force.

“General Kale the IGP is a great patriot, nationalist and pan -Africanist who has served selflessly ~professionalizing the police,” he tweeted.

Mukula’s remark comes at a backdrop when rumours are circulating on social media that Kayihura is under protective measure following the arrest of his blue eyed senior police officers who are being accused of kidnap and repatriating refugees.
