Police holding 3 suspects Over murder of Kalungu District Chairman’s wife

The Police in Masaka are holding three suspects to help in investigating a murder case of Lilian Nansubuga,wife to Kalungu district chairman Richard Kyabaggu who was beheaded by unknown assailants. in Kalungu District.

Attackers reportedly broke into her home at 2am.

So far, investigations point to the deceased’ eldest son whom she (deceased) was staying with.

According to the Regional Police Spokesman Lameck Kigozi, the incident in which unknown people hacked to death Nansubuga 40, a resident Ssala Kabaale Village in Lwabenge Sub County-occurred on Tuesday morning. 

“The deceased is a wife of the local council V Chairman of Kalungu. The Police recovered the axe suspected to have been used in the murder from the family’s pit latrine” Kigozi said.
