The Uganda Cranes conducted a training session on Thursday evening at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole ahead of the trip to Lira on Friday morning.
Twenty three players were part of the session under the watchful eye of Coach Moses Basena, Mathias Lule and goalkeeping coach Fred Kajoba.
Moses Basena after the training said he is happy for the regional tour project because it will be used as a baseline to test players especially those playing at home on who will make the final squad to face Ghana in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier on 7th October at Namboole.
‘I am happy for the regional tour project because it gives a clear picture of players who are ready for the senior team’ said Basena.
