North East Region Football Association Ready To Host Uganda Cranes in Regional Tours

The North East Football Association select team will play the Uganda Cranes team on Saturday, 26th August 2017.

This will be a continuation of the famous Uganda Cranes regional tours whose key objective among others is to take the national team brand closer to the masses in their respective localities.

Having left Kampala in the afternoon, the team delegation drove successfully and had a stop over at Mbale before conducting a late training session at the Mbale Cricket grounds.

Hill Water

The players and officials are accommodated at Mbale Resort Hotel from where they will connect to Bukedea, where the match will take place.

The team will leave Mbale on Saturday, hours to the match at Bukedea.

The Uganda Cranes regional tours are jointly sponsored by Airtel Uganda and Nile Breweries under the flagship brand Nile Special.

Traveling team to Bukedea:

  • Goalkeepers: Isma Watenga (Vipers) and Benjamin Ochan (KCCA)
  • Defenders: Nico Wakiro Wadada (Vipers), Isaac Muleme (KCCA), Bernard Muwanga (SC Villa Jogoo), Timothy Dennis Awany (KCCA), Dennis Iguma (Al Ahed, Lebanon), Paul Musamali (KCCA)
  • Midfielders: Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege (Township Rollers, Botswana), Moses Waiswa (Vipers), Shafiq Kagimu (URA), Hassan Wasswa Mawanda (Njihem, Lebanon), Yassar Mugerwa (St George, Ethiopia), Muzamiru Mutyaba (KCCA), Tom Masiko (Vipers)
  • Forwards: Derrick Nsibambi (KCCA), Nelson Senkatuka (Proline), Paul Mucureezi (KCCA)
