The long awaited cancer machine has finally arrived in Uganda after one year of unfulfilled promises.
The new machine known as cobalt 60 Teletheraphy arrived in the country on Tuesday.
The only cancer machine at the National Referral Hospital Mulago broke down in March 2016.
On the otherhand, government is in its final stages of constructing the East African Oncology Centre of Excellence which is slated to begin in January, 2018.
