Simeo Nsubuga is the current Kasanda South Member of Parliament and he is one of the core supporters agitating for the removal of the age limit.
On Monday the legislator was nearly thumped by an angry journalist identified as William Ntege in front of the Kabaka in Buwekula during his 24th coronation ceremony. Simeo was attacked for supporting the removal of age limit.
Simeo a teacher by profession was born on 4 December, 1973.
He sat his Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) in 1989 from Myanzi primary school. From there he joined Nana Secondary school for his ordinary secondary education and Mityana Secondary school for his Advanced level Education.
Simeo joined Makerere University in 1996 to pursue a bachelors of Arts in Education. He also holds a Masters of Arts in Human rights from Makerere University.
Before joining Uganda Police Force, Simeo as a professional teacher first taught at Kasubi Secondary School and Strive High School in Kawala.
He joined police in 2001 attending Kibuli / Masindi Police Training Schools and in 2002 he was passed out as a Cadet Police Officer.
After being passed out, Simeo was made an Officer in Charge of Nyendo Police Station.
From there he passed through a number of ranks like Kampala Metropolitan Police Public Relations Officer, Government Chief Security officer, Police Trainer in African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
In 2011 to 2015, Simeo served as UNDP Law Enforcement Advisor in South Sudan.
During the 2016 general elections, Simeo managed to win Kasanda South parliamentary seat.
