A 25-year-old boda boda man has cut his wife’s neck on learning she was going abroad for kyeyo and leave him behind.

The two have been cohabiting for the last three years and have child together.

Nangonzi says she decided to take their child to stay with her parents which did not please her husband.

He then pretended to be sick, telephoned her to return home to take care of him and actually got admitted at a health center in Kyetume trading center along Katosi Road.

When Nanganzi came to the health center, Kisakye jumped off from the sick bed and asked his wife to take him back home saying that he will get better treatment at home.

Kisakye rode his wife out of the health centre back to their home, but on reaching the house, he locked the door and drew out a knife, after which he started stabbing his wife.

Before he started stabbing her, Kisakye he telephoned her mother and father and asked them to listen in while their daughter cried to death.

Nangonzi however fought back, but survived with serious injuries.

Seeing blood oozing from her neck, Kisakye took off, thinking she will die from over bleeding.

The cowardly man however started threatening residents that he will kill himself but they saved him as soon as he started hurting himself. The two are at Kawolo and Mukono church of Uganda hospital respectively for where they undergoing treatment.
