Police honour late Kaweesi’s promise, reconstructs woman’s house destroyed by chopper

Days before being gunned down by unknown assailants in ,the late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, paid a visit to Annet Nampijja a lady who escaped death after a police helicopter flipped over her house and blew off the rooftop.

The by then police Spokesperson Kaweesi instructed the police engineers to reconstruct her own and he promised to oversee the whole process himself.

Unfortunately, he was shot dead on 17 March, 2017 a day after his visit.

Now, the good news is that the police force has managed to honour Kaweesi’s promise to Nampijja through reconstructing her destroyed house.
