The Executive Director of Uganda Media Centre Ofwono Opondo has claimed that as the government spokesperson he is not aware of any NRM organ that has discussed or tabled the controversial amendment of the presidential age limit.
While appearing on NBS TV’s Frontline show, Opondo on Thursday, Opondo said some of the people criticizing President Yoweri Museveni over lifting of the age limit are his undercover agents with hidden agendas.
“ I’m not aware of any organ of NRM that has discussed or tabled amending the age limit. Some of these people criticizing President Museveni are his undercover agents,” said Opondo.
Still on the same show, former ethics and integrity minister Miria Matembe revealed that she has never seen a person so greedy for power like president Museveni.
According to Matembe, Museveni is the same man who told the world that Africa’s biggest problem is leaders who don’t want to leave power but what beats her minds now is that the president has become the problem he talked about.
“ I haven’t seen a person who is so greedy for power as President Museveni. This is the man who told the world that the Africa’s problem is leaders who don’t want to leave power,”
