NBS TV: UCC’s ‘notice of suspension’ doesn’t affect our efficient service delivery

Early this week, Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) issued NBS TV a notice of suspension of license to television broadcast following Presidential Advisor on Media issues,Tamale Mirundi’s misconduct in its weekly show dubbed as ‘One on One with Tamale Mirundi’.

However, NBS has come to clarify that the ‘notice of suspension’ doesn’t affect  its  efficient service delivery and that business will continue as usual.

“Following communication from UCC regarding the above subject , we acknowledge  receipt of the letter  (LA/181/39) within which notice was given to us to respond to concerns raised within 60 working days,” Pamela Adong, NBS chief marketing officer notes.

Adong states that the notice does not affect the station’s efficient delivery.

“We are currently handling this matter internally , in a mean time all business will continue as usual,”
