Buganda Broadcasting Service has appointed Centenary Bank Managing Director Fabian Kasi as the new Board Chairman replacing Herman Kasekende the Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank Zambia.
Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga announced Kasi yesterday evening while celebrating BBS’s first year anniversary at Liquid Silk in Bugolobi. Kasekende was appointed last year.
Mayiga thanked and appreciated Kasekende who helped the station to become one of the top five television stations in Uganda.
“I am very happy that the next chairman is also understanding, supportive and business minded with knowledge since no one can lead a bank without wisdom.” Mayiga said.
Kasekende also thanked the board members for the cooperation and hard work they put in developing BBS.
