The Minister of State for Works, Hon. Gen. Katumba Wamala and Minister of State for Transport, Hon. Aggrey Bagiire inspected facilities and ongoing works at Entebbe International Airport on Monday 3 April 2017.
They were taken around by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Board Chairman, Eng. Edward Mike Ndawula in the company of the Ag. Managing Director, Dr. David Kakuba and General Manager for Entebbe International Airport, Eng. Ayub Sooma.
President Yoweri Museveni appointed Gen. Katumba Wamala as minister for works after being relieved of his duties as UPDF Commander of Defence Forces.
He became the second serving officer after the late Aronda Nyakairima to serve as minister in President Museveni’s reign.
