UBC goes off air as yaka runs out

The once ‘loaded’ national broadcaster UBC now days trails in the bad days of impoverishment.

If not mistaken, since last year UBC was declared bankrupt due to under funding by the government.

Okay! As if that would be fine because that’s the Uganda we are living in but to a national broadcaster especially when it’s a government facility how could it run out of yaka.

Yesterday, the corporation spent the whole day off air because it had ran out yaka and it didn’t even possess a generator. It’s quite shaming…

Remember, UBC is a free to air distributor in Uganda that means viewers on free to air decoders couldn’t access any station.
