2017 East African Corporate League to boost Uganda’s businesses

“Bringing communities together through sports for peace, healthy life, tourism development” is the theme for this year’s corporate league where six countries from the East African community shall participate. The tournament is seen as a chance for bridging the gap between Ugandan business entrepreneurs and those from the Diaspora.

Rwanda has confirmed two teams, vision 2020 and Malindi FC, Kenya with UN corporate team and the Nairobi Corporate Stars, Tanzania has Tanzania stars, just as Burundi with also one team Kotoko.

Uganda is having two teams named Uganda A and Uganda B.  Where DR .Congo shall come with Vielles Glories and Les Epaves FC.

The chairman corporate league Uganda Mr. Richard Okot said that every arrangement is set where the tournament shall be hosted at the Phillip Omondi stadium for the KCCAFC at Lugogo.

He says that  players  above 35 years  of age shall be eligible to play ,however ,a team may field up to two[2] players above 30 years  but below 35 years per game.

“Health services are set where AAR is our main partners to sort the grievance” Mr. Okot elucidates.

All the 40 companies of the Uganda corporate league shall play community shield for seven [7] aside on day two.

Many business entrepreneurs shall be given a chance during this tournament to showcase their goods of sale to the public both from Uganda and the foreign visitors as well as exchanging ideas and contacts with the visitors.
