Minister for Tourism, Godfrey Kiwanda has endorsed Sarah Kagingo for East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) seat.

According to Kiwanda, Kagingo is a former Guild President at Makerere University. She contested in the Last EALA and she has been consistent meaning that the candidate knows what she wants and she is ready to deliver at that level.

“Sarah is not coming for EALA as a last resort. No. She has been focused at EALA,” Kiwanda said.

“Her Experience in the social media has put Uganda at high level in terms of Tourism and Trade,” the minister added.

Kiwanda further asserted that Kagingo worked very closely with President Yoweri Museveni and this exposed her fully to the dealings of international affairs including the region.

Kagingo is one of the remaining 42 NRM nominees for the EALA race after Michael Mpeirwe Katungi pulling out of the race earlier today.

Tomorrow Tuesday, NRM caucus is going to vote the party’s EALA flag bearers.
