Actress Becky Jjuko sent to rehabilitation following her leaked nudes

The Ebonies actress Sulayina Nanyendo alias Princess Becky Jjuko is to be checked into rehabilitation following her leaked nudes.

The Pornographic Control Committee (PCC) established that the actress needs a lot of help to overcome the situation that she was put through.

Nanyendo, popularly known for her role in the Ebonies drama series Oh My God (OMG) that airs on Bukedde TV, was summoned before the PCC on Tuesday to answer questions about how her private pictures made it to the internet.

But following what was discussed in that meeting, Dr Annette Kezaabu the Chairperson of PCC told media that they don’t intend to press charges against the actress since she was very remorseful, but rather planning for a way of helping her to overcome the situation.

“We don’t want women objectified by jealous and angry lovers. We haven’t seen anybody exposing the nudes of a boy. But it’s always women victims, so we are now fighting that. We are looking for ways of rehabilitating this girl,” she said.

Kezaabu claimed that they handled Nanyendo’s issues as parents because, based on the way she presented herself, it was evident to them that Nanyendo didn’t leak the nudes by herself.

“She sent these private pictures and was later betrayed, we tried to handle her as parents not legally, and we advised her to never take these pictures again and also requested her to use this situation and educate fellow girls about the experience one goes through after their nudes leak.”

Nangendo admitted taking these pictures, but claimed that she was betrayed by her boyfriend who apparently lives abroad.

“My private pictures leaked but it wasn’t my intention, I never released anything intentional, I was just betrayed by my ex. I want to apologise to everyone. It’s such an experience that I can’t explain. I just don’t know what to do now, but I want people to know that I took and sent those pictures to somebody I thought I love, but he later betrayed me,” she said.

She however advised girls to never trust anyone with private picture because once they are out, it’s not easy for people to value you again.

“Girls of my age or older, please think before doing such things, had I thought about it, I wouldn’t have been in this situation, many people look up to me and think am a great actress, yes I am but am currently embarrassed, now everyone knows me and don’t value me anymore, please don’t trust anyone.”
