Fresh Kid, Bobi Wine ‘gat’ you this Easter weekend

From Bobi Wine’s Busaabala Fest ‘still in balance’ to Fresh Kid and John Blaq being booked at almost all shows around Kampala, its surely going to be a busy weekend, full of fun, music, drama and a lot of food, this long Easter weekend. Watchdog Uganda has listed some of the fun, but relatively affordable ways to spend the Easter break.

Good Friday, April 19

Code 9 Fridays feat Jose Chameleone

Jazzville Kampala will on Good Friday hold its Code 9 Fridays featuring Jose Chameleone. Organizers have assured revelers of a mouthwatering live music performance from the music legend and other guest performers for the night. Entrance to the venue will be at Shs30,000 ordinary, Shs50,000 VIP and Shs100,000 VVIP.

Music night with Isaiah Mbuga

Kampala Sheraton Hotel will host a ‘Live Music Night Concert’ featuring gospel vocalist Isaiah Mbuga. There will also be performances from other artistes such as Sekku Martin, Brain Lubega, Phila among others. Shs50,000, Shs100,000 and Shs2,000,000 for ordinary, VIP and a table will get you into the venue.

Good Friday with King Saha

Biri Biri singer King Saha is set to perform for his fans at Fusion Auto Spa Munyonyo, in a live music night dubbed ‘Good Friday with King Saha’. He will perform alongside the Solid Band. Entrance is Shs10,000

Saturday, April 20

Kaz Kasozi Unplugged

Design Hub Kampala is set to host Kaz Kasozi in an event dubbed ‘Kaz Kasozi Unplugged.’ Show tickets will go for Shs50,000, Shs100,000 and Shs500,000, Ordinary, VIP and Table respectively.

April 21

La Cabana Easter BBQ

La Cabana, a Speke Apartments-based restaurant will on Easter Sunday and Monday present a special Easter BBQ Brunch for all meat lovers. According to its management, for Shs99,000 (Easter classic) and Shs149,000 (Easter Premium), one will eat meat until they drop. These BBQ will be accompanied by a Glass of Champagne, Side dish, and open salad bar among others.

Jahazi Pier Munyonyo

The Freshest Kid rapper will headline the Easter family day out at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo. Fresh Kid will take on entertainment alongside other artistes like Rema, Sheebah, King Saha, Tuff B, John Blaq, Madrat and Chico, Triplets Ghetto Kids among others.

Unpainted Canvas

Gospel artiste Levixone will headline entertainment at Design Hub on Easter Sunday, during the Unpainted Canvas Fest that is organized under the theme ‘Tales of the Risen’. According to organizers, the fest is fully packed with lots of dance, Drama, poetry, painting and much more. There will also be performances from other artistes like Czarbu and Metanaa Band.

Easter Monday April 22

Nakusiima Family day out

David Lutalo and Bebe Cool will take the fun to Gaba Beach on Easter Monday In the Nakusiima Family Day Out. There will also be performances from artistes such as Chosen Becky, Fresh Kid, Daxx Kartel among others, and entrance will be Shs5,000 for children and Shs10,000 for adults.

Busaabala Fest

Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine is set to hold his Easter Monday Busaabala Fest at his One Love Beach even without a clearance from the police. Bobi Wine, during a presser said they already wrote to the police requesting for security, but it had failed to respond.  This show will feature performances by Nubian Lee, Irene Ntale, and King Saha among others.
