Andy Events now pinned for embezzling Lydia Jasmine’s finances after B2C debacle

Songstress Lydia Jasmine and former B2C manager Andrew Mugerwa alias Andy Events are at loggerheads after their partnership failed to take off.

During an interview with a local radio station recently, Jasmine claimed that she was looking for a new manger because ‘Mugerwa was adding nothing on my career.’

On learning about this, Mugerwa shared his side of a story and revealed how he injected a lot of money in Jasmine’s music career but earned nothing out of it. This prompted him to drop her from the ‘Andy Events Music Label’.

However, sources within Jasmine’s camp refute Mugerwa’s statement, claiming that he is the one who got fired because he used to misuse Jasmine’s show proceeds, and shared nothing with the artiste.

“What made Jasmine mad was, recently we had to shoot a video. Little did we know that Mugerwa had plans to shoot a video for Brain Weizy on the same day. That would not be a problem, but that guy used us as his second option, our video was like a ‘by the way’ to him yet Jasmine is an established brand more than Weizy,” the source said.

Apparently, Jasmine’s video was shot late at night after Weizy’s when the artiste, video vixens and the entire crew was already tired.

Now they are afraid the video will not come out as great as they had earlier planned.

“Brain Weizy doesn’t make money for the label, Mugerwa used money made through Jasmine’s booking to shoot his artiste’s video and even made his video to be shot first during day time. Jasmine has bared a lot with Mugerwa for this short time, but that was too much,” source revealed.

After parting ways with B2C in 2018 for lack of financial transparency, Mugerwa moved on and signed other artistes like Jasmine, Brain Weizy, Viva Music and Banina Empire.

But apparently all artistes he signed have thrown in the towel apart from Weizy.
