Swangz Avenue’s singing fiva Veronica Nakiyingi alias Vinka has revealed her 2019 music strategy that will help keep her on top in this competitive music game.
While speaking to her fans on social media, Vinka promised to release a new song every month for a year (2019), with hopes that some of those songs will top all music charts.
“I will be releasing a song with a Video every 1st day of the month for the year 2019… Two videos already out… 3rd video drops this Friday 1st March ‘Kona’ Video drops,” she shared.
Earlier this week during an interview with NBS Uncut, Vinka disclosed that she has always been a victim of cyber bulling, but believes that good music can silence all bad talk about her on internet.
“Some people on social media refer to me as a man, other say that I am too tiny like a skeleton. I hate it sometimes but I am planning to silence all that with music,” Vinka said.
However, Vinka is not the first artiste to adopt this strategy as in 2016; Bebe Cool also promised to release a new audio and video every first day of the month.
“Great news, I will be releasing a brand new Video every 1st of the month for the next 15 months, not just Videos but quality in consideration. Music lovers get ready starting tomorrow,” Bebe Cool posted in September 2016.
However after three months ‘Big size’ couldn’t sustain what he had promised as he started giving excuses of how he was trying to push his music that was already out, after his ‘Azina Aseka’ audio failing to make a hit.
