Big Size Bebe Cool officially released his annual, controversial list of best performing artistes in 2018, citing Sheeba, who has been consistent for the past four years , and Fik Fameica who has topped all charts ever since he joined the entertainment industry two years back as his top artistes.
Surprisingly, Bebe Cool listed Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga among the big hit singles of 2018. However he alleged that its politics that made it a hit.
“Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga is not a good song but using political ground to push it to a big single is acceptable by me, otherwise musically, NO,” said Bebe Cool.
Unlike last year’s list, this time round Bebe has acknowledged efforts from some artistes who complained last year like A Pass, Eddy Kenzo and Khalifa Aganaga. He also listed Jose Chameleone, Rema, Vinka, Gravity, Fille, and King Saha among others as hardworking artistes of 2018.
Bebe also sent a special recognition to Irene Namatovu, Sandra Nankoma, Miss Uganda, Golola Moses and Uganda Cranes for their 2018 victories and urged Band musicians to make themselves relevant in the entertainment industry.
