Veteran Kadongokamu singer Lord Fred Sebatta must be up in the air after emerging winner of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) best song competition.

After winning at the grand finale which took place on Saturday at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, Sebatta was rewarded with a whooping shs50 million cash prize.

Months back, kadongokamu artistes were tasked to compose songs which promote agriculture and animal production.

“I want to thank my friends in Kadongo Kamu for coming out to participate in this competition and helping us convey the message to the public,” said Gen. Salim Saleh, the OWC boss.

It should be noted that for years now, Sebatta has been struggling financially and recently he staged a fundraise concert seeking financial support from well wishers to help him pay his huge debts.

Meanwhile, Vincent Segawa managed to become second thus walking away with shs25 million. In the third place was Busulwa Sylvesto who won shs20 million and in the fourth place was Mathias Walukaaga who got shs10 million.
