Beleaguered musician Sasha Brighton has defended herself from social media critics, saying she is not to blame for the happenings in the Shonga household.
For quite some time now, Dorothy Shonga fans have blamed Brighton for wrecking her marriage since she started hobnobbing with Herbert. The rumour went into overdrive when Dorothy filed for divorce.
Translated from Luganda, Brighton says she should not be listening to the other party.
“When I changed my status did I mention any man’s name??? It’s you people who destroy people’s marriages, you pretend to resolve yet worsening everything,” reads Brighton’s post in English.
On February 12, the musician changed her facebook status to ‘in a relationship,’ which got her fans and critics in overdrive.
Thereafter Dorothy told Herbert, her husband of 15 years that he can go enjoy ‘your prostitute and new found girlfriends’.
“And after this I am coming for both cars because the purchase money was transferred directly from my account, I have seen your prostitute driving the cars as well, she spend nights in my bed and wear my clothes,” said Dorothy in what was perceived as a jibe at Brighton.
In 2016, Brighton was accused of snatching Big Eye from socialite Don Zella, and that she was the reason the musician dumped his family.
But in 2017, Big Eye dumped Brighton for a new woman identified as Debby.
Maybe that is when Brighton she decided to hook up with Herbert Shonga.
