Goodlife management is set to defy court as they increase publicity for their forthcoming ‘Moses The Great’ album launch and listeners party.
Moses The Great or MTG is slated to happen on January 25 at DNA Lounge, Acacia Avenue, despite acourt’s notice that prohibited the public from consuming the late Radio’s music without authorization from the Administrator General.
In a letter dated January 14, Radio Mozey’s family through lawyers noted that it is illegal for any media house, clubs or any other music consumers to use Radio’s music.
“This is to notify the general public, all media houses and platforms that no entity shall release any music belonging to the late Moze Radio without express authorization from the Administrator General,” reads the notice in part.
However, Weasel responded to this notice by rallying all Goodlife fans to come through for the MTG album launch listening party.
“Radio and Weasel Presents and album listening party dedicated to our Broda Radio this coming Friday, Come let’s celebrate his Legacy and his Birthday, Tickets and Table Bookings are going on online,” said Weasel on Sunday.
Weasel also promised fans that this listener’s party will be a silent disco experience and proceedings from this event will go towards supporting Radio’s foundation in Jinja.
The MTG album comprises song from late Radio which were unfinished before he passed on February 1, 2018 at Case Hospital. The album also features international collaborations from Africa’s top artistes like Davido, Wiz Kid among others.
