The financial intelligence authority (FIA) has said it was ready to hand over their investigations in Justine Bagyenda wealth report to police.
FIAhas announced that the report was complete and were about to handle it over to police for action.
Bosses of FIA including Sydney Asubo and board chair Leo Kibirango have come under fire for attempting to bury the investigation into Justine Bagyenda, the former director of supervision who earns about sh35 million a month but had billions of shillings in banks.
It is not clear what sort of report FIA has compiled on Ms Bagyenda, however, hers is a case with many interests at play including Parliament’s Committee on statutory and state enterprises (COSASE) and the inspectorate of government (IGG).
