“Continued interventions in social service areas can stimulate productivity and investments in Uganda’s slow economy where growth rate has been down graded by the International Monetary Fund to 3.5%,” Malmberg said.

She added that as it’s Uganda’s efforts and civil societies to reduce violence in women and children therefore they are willing to help the country with such a great achievement and funds.

“Ugandans are going to benefit a lot especially those in need of education and health facilities,” Malmberg added.

Additionaly, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Planning Keith Muhakanizi said the government was commitment towards ensuring efficient implementation and absorption of project related funding.
