women urged to the government be provided with modern methods of farming to improve agriculture since women are the the main pillar of agriculture in Uganda this was said during a women’s press conference today.
Ritah Atukwasa said that women should be given materials like tractors which can ease the labour in clearing the land, planting and weeding which can shorten the time of production.
Further women were advised to find time for themselves to relax than turning there lives into prisons. This week women are preparing themselves for the international women’s day which will be held in Dokolo district and this year’s theme is ”women’s empowerment in changing the world.”
