List: 8 Ugandan celebrities pick nominations in AFRIMMA awards 2019

The African Muzik Magazine Award (AFRIMMA) is back with its 6th edition, and eight Ugandan celebrities have managed to scoop nominations.

During the 5th edition, Sandra Nankoma, Irene Namatovu, Ykee Benda, and Bebe Cool made Uganda proud after winning the accolades.

Now, it is Eddy Kenzo, Sheebah, Rema Namakula, Julianna Kanyomozi, Vinka, Sasha Vybes, Triplets Ghetto Kids and James Onen, flying Uganda’s flag.

Kenzo was nominated as the Best Male artiste East Africa, and he will be battling with other East African giants like Diamond Platnumz, Ali Kiba, Harmonize, Khaligraph Jones, The Ben, Rayvanny among others.

Uganda’s singing divas Vinka, Rema Namakula, Julianna Kanyomozi and Sheebah Karungi will face off in the same category for Best Female artiste East Africa, with other stars like Vanessa Mdee, Nandy, among others.

Sasha Vybe was nominated in the category of Best Video producer, Triplets Ghetto Kids as Best African Dancers and Sanyu Fm’s James Onen also scooped a nomination for Best Radio Personality.

The award ceremony will be happening on October 26 -27th 2019 at the Dallas Bomb Factory, Texas. Voting is currently open on AFRIMMA’s official website.
