A prostitute in Jinja has stabbed to death an officer of the Uganda People’s Defense Forces.
The unfortunate occurrence took place in the week hours of Wednesday morning, December 26 2018.
Police has arrested the woman said to be a girlfriend of the officer identified as Vincent Mujuni, as it investigates circumstances under which the deceased who was attached to Jinja’s Gadaffi barracks, faced his death.
The suspect Rehema Namukasa has been running a bar where Mujuni was stabbed and denied on her verandah at about 4am on Wednesday. Neighbors said Namukasa also worked as a prostitute and it seems the lovers were fighting over infidelity.
