Gashumba: Patriotic Ugandans should hang portraits of Idi Amin and Obote in their houses

Renowned socio-political critic Frank Gashumba has urged all Ugandans who feel that they are patriots to hand portraits of past presidents Idi Amin and Apollo Milton Obote in their houses.

Gashumba, who underscored the current government for its elevated levels of corruption and embezzlement, said whatever property is being looted by officials in the NRM government was preserved by two the former leaders of Uganda.

“Based on what I see in Uganda today, every patriotic Ugandan should hang a portrait of President Idi Amin and President Milton Obote in their houses because whatever has been looted was preserved by the governments of these two great men,” Gashumba noted.

He pointed out that NRM will be remembered as a regime that deliberately and successfully destroyed each and everything which the past leaders had preserved.

“The only thing that these vimpires have failed to do is to steal the Sun! And again they have inconvenienced the national climate by finishing up all forests including the Kajjansi Central Forest!” he said adding that,” But at some point, Ugandans will reclaim some of theirs that have been looted over the years!”
