Producer Man Polo who has worked with some of the leading names in the local music industry like Aziz Azion, Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana and boy band B2C has become another victim of the growing gangs in the city and its surroundings.
According to sources close to the fast-rising producer he was beaten on his way back from deceased singer Mowzey Radio’s burial in Nakawuka off Entebbe road where he was way laid and beaten to near death by one of the unkown gangs that terrorised mourners at the burial of the late Moses Sekibogo.
He is said to have been picked up by well wishers who found him lying helplessly along the road side and rushed him to a near by clinic where he recieved life saving first aid and treatment.
His condition is said to be improving and he is out of danger according to those close to the star but this continues to raise questions about the growing gangs around the city and the failure of our security apparutus to reign in on them.
Man Polo has proudced number of hits top among them is the Omulembe Guno collaboration of Aziz Azion with Sheebah Karungi, Katono tono by Rema, Nkwagala by B2C, Winner by Aziz Azio, My lover by Geo Steady to mention but a few.
A little about his background shows he grew up playing piano which inspired him to join music production. He also claims to be the inventor of Baxxragga a style that has been embraced by a number of local artistes.
Man Polo has worked with a number of recording houses including Karma Records where started out in 2013, Reverb studio, Zue Records, BCG Records and Bad Man Records to mention but a few.
